Oh D(ear)

Tom Thumb’s thumb, n’ these are the facts 

Got stuck in his ear, going after the wax

Down very deep, it had unfortunately stuck

Which had been some really dumb luck

 

Being slightly convenient, but no need for a bed

At nights he’d be just hung up instead

For parties and stuff, a buck bought a hat

Altho,’ his hearing had suffered, through all that

 

He stayed that way much the rest of his life

Living alone, having no thought of a wife

Then by good fortune, a sweet thing came near

A lovely lass, with her thumb also stuck in her ear

 

Their both elbows still remain up in plain sight

But seeing two up elbows eased their common plight

With his good left ear complimented by her right

Their rejuvenated receivers have become a delight

This is a funny tale of thumbs stuck in ear. Goes to show there is someone for everyone out there. A person who can relate to the plights in life that another has been through. As alway this gave me a chuckle

There is a lesson here, do not ever stick your thumb in you ear! Despite the fact that you might meet someone of the same ilk….Docs say don’t stick anything in your ear! Well, at least they both found compatibility…..how nice!
