The Little Dog LaughedA Chapter by Dave Brown🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘The man in the moon Saw a cow fly by Doing the milkcow blues boogie Makin flyin look so cool Thought he’d try it The little dog laughed When he stumbled and fell Down Heartbreak Hotel’s stairwell Now he is a lonely man Cuz he’s so far off track He wonders if he will Ever get back When the dish and the spoon Wearing their Chantilly lace First heard on the grapevine And then saw him Crying in the gloom Being concerned, they’d asked Are you lonesome tonight And to chase away his moody blues He was given a pair of Blue suede shoes With them requesting they be Returned to sender An old hound dog With a suspicious mind And Spanish eyes Followed that dream with him Both knowing it was now or never Even through stormy weather And through Kentucky rain Across that bridge over troubled waters Joinin a night rider Along the Rock Island Line On a mystery train With big wheels rollin Shakin, n’ rattlin From the loc-o-motion Goin back to the Blue Moon From which They are never coming back Cuz they were both all shook up © 2024 Dave BrownReviews
