On Some BeachesA Chapter by Dave Brown✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️Looking
up into the brightest blue sky I saw a
pink flying turtle And attached
to that turtle’s shell Were two
lovely, fully feathered wings One of
which played stunning music While the
other pink wing sings The right-sided,
or male oriented wing Played
music sounding like that of an orchestra The
other wing, (left-sided) which was female oriented Originally
had the voice of a soprano Which
was blessed with the very highest tessitura. Until
one day, when this particularly peculiar, pink turtle Attempting
to land, had been distracted Having it
land, butt first Upon a very long, extremely, sharp, wooden sliver This
incident had so jolted the left wing That
her voice changed to that of a contralto Which is
the lowest sounding of female voices Ranging
from F3, below the central C, to an F5 Which
is exceedingly rare Thereafter,
this particularly peculiar, but pleasant, pink turtle Would often
be the star at turtle-strated events, tide-wide All of
which happened on palm fringed tropical beaches And, during
the singing of some pieces, that left side, contralto wing Would on
occasion, venture into the mezzo-soprano’s sound range Which, Even
when inspired by a salubriously shelled, two-winged, particularly peculiarly-colored,
fascinatinglyish flying, pretty pink
turtle Seemed sorta
