Cupid's Arrow

Tho’ Cupid’s bow

Was strung and quite ready

His advancing age

Made his aim quite unsteady

And he, having spied a heart

Aimed quite carefully for that

But it misdirected to where

The intended had sat

 

Constipation had been

That poor lady’s woe

But it eased quite mightily

What with the exact location

Cupid’s arrow was to go

And tho her heart

Had not quite taken a hit

At least now she could  

Have quite a good sit
