Eating Apples

Whilst strolling through the hills of Eden

God met the strangest pair

A couple attempting to access his apples

And they each were absolutely bare

 

My goodness thought a shocked God

Those two are after one of my prizes

Well, for this theft inclined duo

I have a few surprises

 

After God decided to ban them for life

Adam declared the whole thing a fake

Because, he vehemently declared

Eating apples gave him a real belly-ache

 

From his resort in Well-Hell-a-Lets-Go

Adam interrupted his golf game to see

If the courts would reverse the decision

Regarden the garden and its apple tree

 

He submitted a petition to the supreme court

That would declare the apple uneatin

And reallow the bare couples garden access

For unending, uninterrupted feedin

 

The decision’s still through the courts

And Adam’s still on the golf course

But because of a meddling serpent

Adam’ll need to find a new apple source

Dear DAVIE...this could be one of your best..how on earth did you invent this one? so clever and I love the whole scene..with the courts holding it up HMMM.... and Adam out on the gold course ....not eating apples cause they give him a belly ache.....it's funny and sarcastic as well... Great!
