Making PlansA Chapter by Dave Brown✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️I knew it was going to
happen So, we made plans to see
the faces On foreign people, in
foreign places And the things we would
buy to wear After our first-class
flight over there Things like shirts and
shorts and hats all new Or buying the whole
store’s what we would do We endless shoppers would
buy it all And to our penthouse we’d
haul that haul Then off in our brand-new
convertible, where With tropical wind blowing
through our hair We would drive to the yacht
club, to Board our yacht, just
purchased brand new And sail about the tropic
sea, employing A swarthy crew to keep us
going Then back again onto the
shore Where we’d party evermore Cause I was sure I had the
LOTTO ticket numbers I heard them being counted
off Then with only the last
two numbers to count still I knew it would be God’s
will, To let me win and take it all All of the LOTTO haul And buy new hair for my
bald scalp Because with no hair there
it needed halp New teeth so I could have
a lovely smile New legs so I could again walk
a mile And new arms to lift a
load, and I think Under arms that wouldn’t
stink But the whole deal fell
right through What I needed was a number
two But the three I got just
wouldn’t do So, to cure a serious case
of PO’d offy Instead, I relaxed while Enjoying a-cup-a-coffee © 2024 Dave BrownAuthor's Note
