Walking with CougarA Chapter by Dave Brown🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘Walking with
the cougar Through the
quiet, cool shaded valley Alongside the flowing stream Passing by water smoothed
rocks Passing fallen,
wind-blown Fir And broken Cedar
that quietly lays Deep moss makes footsteps silent While sharp eyes
search beyond salal The owl stoically
sits silently searching Pon a limb still clothed with fading leaves Gathering squirrels
stop their chatter To watch us quietly by The last of autumn
has gone Time now for the
long sleep From last of nature’s
berries The black bear has
eaten his fill While cougar
waits in silence For slow rabbits and deer © 2024 Dave BrownReviews
