Supposedly Sorting Syllables

The fragrance of a noun about to bloom

In flowering beds of paragraphic sound

Languidly inclined to spell their way

Into greenhouses of scented sentence structure

Where combinations of suffix and prefix

Settle sorted syllables fledging row upon row

Creating lettered growth of word count

Until that day, craving cohesive combinations,

Where once was merely wearisome reads and means

 Prolifically paragraphed personified prose present

What have become poetic pleasantations of dreams

With unkempt stacks of misspelled morphemes

Where sorrowful sentence structure was wantonly wasted

Have since converted into personified pages printed into

Cohesively constructed, poetic bouquets

What an interesting exercise... You've got the poem, you've got the grammar, the sentence structure... the sense of self, a strong voice, and delicious commentary on how it all works. Words have been my favorite toys most of my life, but what a good game you play!

I am right on the thin edge with this effort.
My lack of a formal English lit. edjumacatiom hasn't let me go as far as I would have liked to have done, but for sure, words are an interesting toy which I also enjoy.

Poesy, I think those early romantics called it, not to be confused with posey. ; ) Not sure if everything I produce is worth a bouquet, but they seem to adorn my shelves none the less.

It has gone from being too hot to being too cold, then we got an 8" dump yesterday, lost power, and it has just started again for what is supposed to be another 8" today (we are up he mountain behind Westwood lake)
I am getting tired of it

Used to live out there, Uncle still does - I remember it used to come down a little harder at the foot of Mt. Benson. My folks are out in Nanoose, little farm thataways.

And still snowed on : ) finished my teaching degree and moved with my lady to the territories - real pretty drive past Fort St. John but she's cold as hell up here.

And I hear you. I feel like people live on the island to escape the snow and when it comes down the whole place screeches to a halt. At least it melts fast.

Funny about Ft. St. John
That is where we lived for a while but it was just too freekin cold
However, I see a beautiful, large acreage for sale in Williams Lake that I would love to purchase ad become a hermit, but have been told I would be going by myself. LOL
