The Wild SideA Chapter by Dave Brown☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕My yellow
horse, stride by stride Took me
to the wild side To a grand
gala affair Where girls
with pink hair Danced
through night air Each
dressed nice n’ pretty Although
it was a pity During
my stay for a week Never once
did they speak I saw crocodile’s
ears Fish
entertaining their peers And
pigs with three ears All
drinkin cold beers Outside
the horse stable Our doorman,
Clark Gable Standing
by a stable table Warned bout
the hallway ahead Where
wild dreams were all fed Where
lies were being said Where I
would have to tread On a very
thin thread To return
to my bed And remove
my tired head I saw
crocodile’s ears Fish entertaining
their peers And pigs
with three ears All
drinking cold beers While
pretty ladies danced round Each in
their new silken gown All
offered a frown As I
lay my head down Then they
took many hours To arrange
donated flowers Till I understood
from my head Under
skies turning red Sweet
angels had said That I
was being constantly fed Excess
med after med With crocodile
ears now in arrears Flying fish were filled with fears And those
pigs which were once dears Now
drank nuthin cept’ boiling beers Then I met
a girl that was too fair With us
since becoming a pair We both
danced all through my hair Each
with love meant to share There
were no others to compare It was for her only her I could care And as
her brown eyes lit night’s air Gently, we floated away as a pair © 2024 Dave BrownReviews
