Crossing the SudanA Chapter by Dave Brown🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘While
crossing the Sudan In
the cool of desert’s night I
was visited by two friendly aliens In
their small customized meteorite They,
from a far distant Galaxy Had
built this thing in their back yard And
with their parent’s permission Flew
off, taking along their bankcard But
when trying to use the card on Earth The
punched in numbers were rejected And
since the contraption’s engine had stalled They
were now grounded and dejected Both
brightened up seeing my Camel and I Which
was actually my dearest house pet They
asked if they could swap for her But
that was something I’d forever regret We
decided instead to hook up a tow rope Hoping
to get a running camel jumpstart Which
we all figured would work fine It
being bout the same size as a go-cart This
all worked out real fine With
their little space ship shooting away But
they forgot to untie my darling Camel And
I haven’t seen her to this day Although
recently, I did receive an e-mail Quite
thoughtfully sent along my way Telling
me my Camel and an alien had wed With
her expecting on the 23 of May © 2024 Dave BrownReviews
