Misty PeaksA Chapter by Dave Brown🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘While pretty
blue skies are off making hay What were
white clouds have turned awfully dark grey Misty mountain’s
refuse to take quick ‘peaks’ With snow
falling for a buncha white weeks While
puddles have formed to reflect bare trees Squirrels are
nestled away from the freeze Hive doors are
shut tight by soaked bumblebees Even pet
puppies won’t go for pee-pees Blackcaps
and Towhees purchased umbrellas Which they
share with other feathered fellas Flowers won’t
hazard to say a hello And creeks have tumbled into overflow But every
so often a drop of sun Warms me
from my head right down past my bum © 2024 Dave BrownReviews
