Garden TableA Chapter by Dave Brown🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘🔘The
day was so very hot I went to the creek for a dip Where
I was pulled off a rock For
an unscheduled trip Washed
underwater downstream I
seemed to pass from this world Carried
past ghastly sights As
down pon creek I was hurled Dark
eyes watched from black trees Ghoul’s
and Goblin’s screamed all round All
along shores, Screecher’s danced Making
their blood gurgling sound The
sky turned green then red The
creek water was getting too hot Then
a Cyclops with razor-blade fingers Brought
me to a sudden stop He
lifted and then he threw me Into
a now cooler creek’s flow Sirens
screamed, flashing red lights As
I was carried deep down below To
a cavern where black things flew To
a fancy garden table for two Where
sat my good buddy, Ghoul Gordon With
two cups of fresh perked brew “Sorry
for all the drama”, said he, “But
I just put on a fresh pot, I
thought we might both appreciate, This
darling garden table I’d just bought!” © 2023 Dave BrownReviews
