aloneA Chapter by Dave Brown👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄👄Once I
walked alone Distaining
friendship’s name Tightly closing my eyes To
life’s meaningless game Strayed
distant pastures Where
morning’s dew dropped Tread
dandelion’s petals Watched
meaningless emotions Carried
away by an uncaring wind Then I met you And
knew I had sinned Now, we walk together As a perfect one Instead
of hiding from raindrops We
seek slow winding creeks Where
we bath neath the sun Emotions
once meaning nothing Now
burst from my chest Where
there was once only turmoil Now
there is rest For, on
that day we met I knew
