An ApparitionA Chapter by Dave Brown⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️In the backroom
of the pub The good old boys
would all meet To swap different
stories And get off their
tired feet There was this
one old poet Fairly ancient
and grey Who along with
his buds Had pulled off a
job, one crazy day Told how they’d
been interrupted Before the robbery
was complete How the coppers
had chased them Down every dark
street Saying how they’d
missed one corner Because of how
wildly they’d sped Having them crash
far below And all ending up
dead Saying how he’s
just an apparition And here he just
winks Which is the only
reason He never helps
