Winter's ApproachA Chapter by Dave Brown☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕Clouds
thicken with Winter’s approach In my mind
one door closes That ice
cream cart is gone As is its
cheerful bell Seabirds
no longer chase balloons That are now
impaled on bare branches Soft blue
seas, once inviting And dreams,
once riding soft breezes Are now dashed
upon rocky shores The big white
house’s veranda is empty Leaves litter streets Poetic inspiration
hides in a corner Until blue
skies reappear © 2023 Dave BrownReviews
