I miss being threeA Poem by David BroderickA song I wrote about six months ago. It makes no sense as a poem, so sorry about the way it's read.
Nothing ever happens Because nothing ever Ever happens Were so bored Half asleep When it rains At least it’s something When it’s cold At least it’s something When I’m a b***h At least I’m something Anything Something Time moves I don’t Seconds, minutes, hours Does it, even, matter Any more I’m Such A bore Thirty degrees I used to enjoy Where did it go? Where did it go? Three feet of snow Used to make me happy Where did it go? Where did it go? I miss Being Simple minded I miss Being Three Where did I get this mind? Left it all behind Where did I get this mind? I guess, it’s, growing up I guess, it’s, inevitable I miss being three
