if i didn't love her, i'd still have my teeth

if i didn't love her, i'd still have my teeth

A Poem by David Benson
"

Because Tommy wrote a poem about a Dominatrix, I figured I'd post my own.

"
falling down drunk, stairs lied
to my face and rose one step
ahead of my nose; black eyes
glitter above shattered
smile. she didn't push me
that hard, but i fell for her
just the same.

my Dominatrix

never has to scream
my name; i was born to heal.

I think this is my favorite of yours. It's very fun. I particularly like the end bit "never has to scream my name/i was born to heal". Precisely what she would want!

The fall down the stairs perfectly set the reader up for the anti-climactic conclusion. Very witty wordplay.

I don't know why, but this made me laugh. I like sadistic humor I guess. lol.

Nice Write!
