Never Ever Again

Never Ever Again

A Poem by David O Whalen (O Haolin in Celtic)
"

That fickle fate should guide one's life

"
I never knew I’d  never see you
Again…
I guess fate had decreed it so
Back then…

We embraced, shared a kiss
Shared a moment of blessed bliss
Not knowing we’d
Never ever see each other
Again…

I wonder could there be
Some preordained plan for me
A course my ship must sail
Upon Life’s Sea

So many things I know not now
So many things I knew not then
And sadly… how it came to end somehow
That I never knew I’d never see you
…again…

We cannot see the future. We make the future. You knew that, despite the love you felt at the time, you needed to travel a different road.
