Age

Age

A Poem by David O Whalen (O Haolin in Celtic)
"

A facet of life

"

Defeated men, seeking solace
Elbows posed on time polished bar
Staring numbly into empty glass
Eyes gazing dumbly... sadly... humbly
Reliving the unforgiving
Lost  time…long past

Good poem, David. But I'd rather see age as productive than defeated.

Wow. Great poem. A stunning example of how you can say so much with such few words. Well done.
