Of lips that lie

It's of being Human

Be not beguiled by clever quips
Nor seduced by kiss from lying lips

Put not at risk nor freely trust
In  one for whom you truly lust

Just accept the lies, the perfidy
And accept too the lying kiss

For it’s only Human that they be
And are without these Christian qualities

So be not beguiled, while all the while
They’d be remiss… in cause to exist
 
Let common sense persist
Enjoy the jests…or at best…
 
Feel free to enjoy the perfidy
Indulge in abandon… all the rest

Yet stay true to what is truly you
But don’t miss the kiss
