I hate Trying (Get over You)A Poem by David-Tyler
I hate trying to get over you
You were never supposed to get so far with me I could never leave like I always do So now you've packed up, and you're walking free Please just run before I fall again I don't want to crawl on my knees begging There's no way I could win So now I'm picking up the pieces, starting with bedding My soul cries out as I stand paralyzed I tried talking, but you're head's harder than concrete So I know your decision's finalized But I can't get kissing you out of my head, you taste so sweet I want to cry, I want to scream I don't ever want to dream at night again if it's always you Because I miss you something so extreme And the memories leave me painted purple and blue Up is down, heaven is hell Without you everything is wrong, and I'm giving up I give up trying to feel well Sitting in a bathroom stall, watching my life blow up I hate trying to get over you
You were never supposed to get so far with me I could never leave like I always do So now you've packed up, and you're walking free © 2018 David-TylerReviews

I'm critical of other people because that's what's helpful. I won't make anything personal until you do. I'm not here for drama, fights, or oth.. more..Writing
