MellowA Poem by David-Tyler
Sunshine cutting through my window
Paints your face in a lovely yellow hue Waiting around to see when you'll awake But no rush for your eyes to open any time soon Your hair dyed pink spreads over your pillow And the birds chirping in the scene, so mellow I brush that side of your face with the back of my gentle hand Just to say I love you, so A date, you say, when you finally awake I can't wait for what we'll decide in precious time For now, I'll hold you while we discuss details And watch detective t.v shows in our home Get dressed, we'll ride around town I picked for you, this humble grey gown Pink lips painted curl to a smile Accented by the white in your teeth as you laugh Kiss me on the rooftop of the city Skyscraper, climbed by elevator under stars Kiss me on the garden grass, illegal to touch As I watch the nighttime sky paint your face in a blue hue Clear of clouds, and clear in mind I can hear your words so crystal clear Pulling me close, your lips whisper near All the things you wanted to scream today Admiring the view behind my glasses There's a whole world behind your irises And I want to feel the atmosphere like wind in my hair All while I sit here, admiring your gentle stare

I'm critical of other people because that's what's helpful. I won't make anything personal until you do. I'm not here for drama, fights, or oth.. more..Writing
