try again

try again

A Poem by David Dodsworth

My love for her was love so pure

I will love her for evermore

Her face an imprint on my soul

She's the one that makes me whole

I tried but failed and won't give in

This is a fight I intend to win

So many things I need to say

I won't just let her walk away

Stand by me I'LL stand by you

I'ts what we know and what we do

One is lonely, two is good

Let's try again you know we shoulD

I love this poem.
The rythm in it and the heartly words are more than beautiful.
So nice.
