which way to turn

which way to turn

A Poem by David Dodsworth

Should I turn right or should I turn left

or maybe straight on, would suit me the best

whichever I choose, theres one thing for sure

full of suprises, never a bore

I'm trying to stay ,upon the right path

take a wrong turn, and your life It will crash

temptation will tease me, and lure me to wrong

wearing my blinkers,I keep marching on

The choices are hard, many have failed

even a train, is sometimes derailed

the older I get, the way becomes clear

I took the wrong path, year after year

But now I am wiser and walk It with pride

The path is lit brightly, withGod by my side
