I wake up every morning

I wake up every morning

A Poem by David Dodsworth

I wake up in the morning so glad to be alive

Then open up my curtains and sunlight hits my eyes Birds are singing in the trees, no clouds up in the sky

All my questions answered, no need to wonder why

The smell of coffee in the air, and bacon in the pan

A perfect start to any day, it’s made me what I am

I then turn on the radio, and hear my favourite song

This day could last forever, and nothing can go wrong

I think I am so lucky I think I must be blessed

To live life to it’s fullest, and never feel the stress

If every day could be like this, life would be a breeze

Live life one day at a time and you’ll live life with ease
