The world gone crazy

The world gone crazy

A Poem by David Dodsworth

When I gaze upon the world I wonder what went wrong
Has the human race gone crazy, how long can this go on?

People dying every day, that could of had a life
Governments stab them in the back, and then they twist the knife

Famine and starvation , while the fat cats eat their fill
Spending all the taxes, while the people become ill

Wars that have no reason, families feeling pain
The brave that gave their lives for peace, were pawns in a bigger game

People sleeping on the streets, and houses standing empty
Not enough with anything, and too many with plenty

Why can’t we hold up our hand’s admit we got it wrong
The time has come to say something wev’e sat down far too long

So speak your minds, and use your votes, before it is too late
This earth it is our Eden, let’s make this planet great
