Voices in my head

Voices in my head

A Poem by David Dodsworth

Help me to rid these voices in my head
I fear they wont leave me, untill I am dead

Demons inside me, drive me insane
if I stop for a minute I hear them again

my madness is real, even in sleep
I wake in the morning, only to weep

confusion and dillusion, wont let me think straight
tormented by anger, and loathing and hate

somebody help me, to live once again
tell me I'm normal, to ease all the pain

my soul cries for freedom ,my heart turned to stone
I talk to the doctor, no emotion is shown

the medication is helping, the voices fade away
never to return again ,so i'll be on my way
