MURDER AT NIGHT

MURDER AT NIGHT

A Poem by David Dodsworth

He stalked his victim at night

When the lighting wasn't as bright

A knife that was sharp

To pierce the heart

Of the girl that he had in his sight

A body drained of her blood

And drank from goblet of wood

He hacked and he chopped

Then he left her to rot

In a field all covered in mud

This killer was evil for sure

Never to kill any more

Caught by a hair

And sent to the chair

For the life of a girl so pure
