Your memory lives

Your memory lives

A Poem by David Dodsworth

I think of you and sit and cry

I question why you had to die

Doubting my faith and missing you

A soul so pure and heart so true

Taken away when at your peak

My mind a void my body weak

I miss your laugh and need your smile

To me ,you made my life worthwhile

But now you've gone and I'm alone

A shiver chills me to the bone

The things we did and things we said

Your memory lives you'll never be dead
