WEREWOLF

WEREWOLF

A Poem by David Dodsworth

Once upon a starry night

The moon was full and shining bright

A tale told, but never heard

Beyond belief and so absurd

Twas on this night, the midnight hour

A howl that made the strongest ,cower

A transformation, man to beast

Urging human flesh, to feast

The wolf who guards the gate to hell

A human kill,he stalked him well

Upon the flesh the beast will dine

Then drink the blood of all mankind

And only from this world depart

A silver bullet through its heart
