Just begun

Just begun

A Poem by David Dodsworth

My tears fall like waterfalls as you walk away

I hold your hand and won't let go, I'm begging you to stay

Please don't turn your back on me I need to see your eyes

I want to look into your soul I never told you lies

Stay with me through thick and thin Stay another day

I beg for one more chance at love, to let it find a way

Don't make this kiss our last goodbye, treat it as our first

Learn to love like I love you for better or for worse

Listen when I say these words I speak them from my heart

Just put the past behind us and try a brand new start

I promised you I'd love you and always stand as one

Come home with me my darling our life has just begun
