remember the fallen

Remember the fallen, that gave up their lives
in a war that was pointless, for them I have cried

hold on to their memories, they won't be forgot
heros forever, that gave up there lot

killed for no reason, by a war thats in vain
those left behind, are feeling the pain

death and destruction, is all war can give
the innocent die, so the guilty can live

as I light a candle, to pray for the dead
who once stood where angels feared to tread

I pray to my god in heaven above
to let them in heaven to share in his love
