Spirals

Spirals

A Poem by Davi
"

Old. 8th grade.

"

Spiraled thoughts
All transcend into another
Down a stairway
Into everything I tried to forget

The windows
Seem to call out my name
As I descend farther
And tell me to punch out the glass
And jump

Maybe then it won’t take so long
For life to get worse
They say it always gets worse
Before it gets better

If your life seem like
It can’t get any worse
Does that mean that
Someday it will seem to just keep getting better?

Pretty nice. I don't know why but i was thinking about the book and movie Fight Club while reading this although the themes are different. In your poem you say that if things can't get any worse then someday things might get better, while in Fight Club its:
you have to loose everything, to gain something.

Hmm,
this is pretty good for a 13 year old, or so.
My favourite line is:
"Spiraled thoughts
All transcend into another
Down a stairway
Into everything I tried to forget"
That line sounds pretty advanced for a elementary school kid.
