On Saint Patrick's day
A joyful sound and with
Shamrocks all around
And little children's laughter
Fills the air and we'll
Celebrate Saint Patrick's day
This Irish feast a welcome sight
A beacon shining pure and bright

In fields of green the shamrocks sway
Joyful hearts celebrate this day
Laughter rings, as friends unite
Wishing luck and pure delight

And the little children are hand in hand
Across the streets a joyful band
Smiling and laughing having fun on
Saint Patrick's day and
Their faces painted and
A time of joy banishing all fear

And from Newy to Derry City
The celebrations hold their sway
And the little leprechauns are laughing
Hiding in the fields of the morning mist
The Irish spirit strong and ever true
A heritage of legends shining bright

And Newry is the place to be
The history rich a heritage deep and
In Newry's old streets secrets to keep
So come to Newry on Saint Patrick's Day
And enjoy this beautiful precious day

So let us toast with grateful cheer
To Patrick's soul held ever dear
His journey's end a peaceful sleep
While his memories sweet we'll gently keep
Our hero Saint Patrick and

In vibrant hues a festive scene
Irish blessings warm and true
