10 Year old Palestinian girlA Poem by David P CarrollSaddened by war
Palestine
As a young girl I've No dream no education No friends no family Blown up in war by Criminals of evil descent I cry for my Mommy Every night knowing She will never come To kiss me goodnight Or hold me tight I don't understand War war war war A madness in life Dead bodies everywhere Soldiers laughing With delight we or dead Governments never helping I just want to hold me mommy Tight and hug into her And tell her I miss you Mommy and daddy I want to cuddle you So much tonight mommy I cry I shout nobody hears My shouting or cries I'm alone again tonight O I don't understand war War war war please come and Hold me tonight because I miss you both every day only wishing I could join You both dead together Mommy and daddy Where or you both Tonight I miss you So much in life War war war A never-ending Pain and suffering Again tonight. © 2016 David P Carroll |
