Private In Nature

Private In Nature

A Poem by crockett
"

Misunderstandings and assumptions gone awry.

"

Private in nature, no malicious intent.

Words spoken in secret, stolen, twisted, and bent.

Kind thoughts shared by two, expressing dismay and concern.

Fall prey to prying ears, too careless to discern.

For had they listened with their heart, and considered the source.

The story playing in their mind, would have steered a right course.

So now the cloud of suspicion, that hangs thick in the air.

Will only help veil the truth, and make more more jagged the tear.

But there is hope that the healing of reconciliation will come.

And kind words like sweet balm, will undo the damage that's done.
