The Fracture

The Fracture

A Poem by Moving Mass
"

Part two

"
There still exist lights.
And the light burns into the flesh of my members...
...my embers.
There exists a sign
For my committees to carefully respect and observe.
Yet with every step, and every tear, and every wasted second of oxygen
I come closer to renouncing my legal rights, my privilege and my gift.
They want me to disband.
Freeze, thaw, repeat.
Exploiting my imperfections, cold glass wounds infect me.
They're breaking me...they're taking me.
Time moves slower now.
Blood flows quicker.
The Massive high council is falling apart.
Only my shadow remains.
