Olaf attempts to marry the oldest
His plan fails, Baudelaires are boldest.

The orphans just want to go to Peru
Their plans are spoiled by You-Know-Who.

Aunt Josephine is a big scaredy-cat
Even if it's not her fault, she almost kills all. Prat.

Klaus is hypnotized by an assistant shady
An assistant who, um, isn't really a lady.

The orphans meet two of their best friends
But thanks to Olaf, the two may meet their ends.

Esmé is obssessed with what's in and what's out
She and Olaf make orphans cry and shout.

Baudelaires are cared for by a whole town
Isadora writes couplets, quality of life goes down.

Olaf's troupe wants to cut off Violet's head
Thankfully Klaus is an "actor" and well read.

Madame Lulu is a fraud, a fake
The Baudelaires she puts at stake.

VFD Headquarters burned in a fire
The situation grows ever more dire.

Fiona leaves Klaus emotionally scarred
She breaks his heart into a million shards.

The orphans accidentally harpoon Dewey
They leave on boat with Olaf, a situation screwy.

They get to safe island in the final book
They leave with Kites baby, without dead crook.

This is a series everyone loves
If Snicket writes no more, he I will shove.
