Food

I couldn't go without for even a day
Science says yes, my mind says no way
It is essential, gives me energy to play
If I couldn't eat, I'd never feel yay.

I like dessert, but all food is good
Not eat, I don't think I could
Even if I could, I don't think I should
Even if I should, I don't think I would.

I wonder if it's better to eat less
Then I say no and make a big foody mess
If I didn't eat, what I'd do I can't guess
Sometimes eating helps relieve stress.

I often eat carbs, especially bread
If I didn't eat, I would be dead
The thought of not eating fills me with dread
When presented with food I think no but go ahead.

I really like sweets, my favorite's pie
If I couldn't eat it I'd probably cry
Just the thought brings tears to my eyes
But I remember reality and all tears dry.
