Oath

This is an oath I wrote for a story idea that I have yet to write. Imagine a guy with a deep voice saying this while standing in front of the leader of an elite vampire hunter society.

As darkness descends

The demons come

When daylight ends

The deed is done

My blade is Death

My heart is Fire

Friend or foe

I am neither

My sword is ready

When dawn is done

The monsters rise

Let them come.
