Empty House Far Away Lost In Lonely Space You Know You´ve Felt The Same

Nikolae walked into his home after yet another day with Alexiana. That girl always left him so drained but he always went back. She captivated him with her aura. She was so shrouded in mystery and he loved that about her. Now alone in his empty home, he let his exhaustion take over.

Nikolae, his name whispered through the house.

Every nerve in his body tensed as he looked around, “Who's there?”

Laughter emitted around the house in all different tones. Nikolae ran through the house, searching for who was laughing.

“Poor little Nikolae,” a woman's voice cooed, “I hear you've found a new hobby. Hanging around that little girl everyday.”

“Too bad she'll out live you,” a man snickered.

“Oh yes,” another woman giggled, “Master has a special plan for that girl.”

Nikolae clenched his fists in anger, “Show yourselves!”

Three figures walked from the shadows behind him. He stared at them, hatred in his hazel eyes.

“You are nothing like your father,” the man replied.

“Too hot tempered,” the women chimed together.

Nikolae froze as the intruders stepped into the light. Sinners, the word echoed around him. He willed his body to run, but nothing happened. He could move.

“Poor boy,” the tallest woman sighed, “Paralyzed with fear.”

Her eyes are small and black, like a spiders, and she showed small fangs with her smile. Her hair was sleek and black, reaching down to her hips. The paleness of her skin glistened with dew drops but Nikolae was drawn to her blood red lips. Someraella. She ran a finger along his cheek down and he cringed.

“Oh, leave the child alone,” the man spat.

He was huge, almost not fitting the height of the room. He had deep red skin with black war markings carved in. His bright purple eyes sent fear into Nikolae's heart. He circled the boy and laughed, causing the house to shake. Severen.

“But he's just so cute,” the other woman chimed.

Her hair was a rainbow, never staying one color, and the length varied. It sparkled against her tan skin. Her eyes were a grayish white, holding his gaze. She smiled, sending butterflies through Nikolae's stomach and when she spoke it was like a musical song. She sauntered over and kissed his forehead, her lips burning against his skin. Linix.

The three Sinners stood before him, smiling cynically. Nikolae glared at them, still unable to run. Murderers...Their words echoed in his mind once more and his eyes widened.

“Wait...out live me...?” he asked them.

“Vlad has big plans for her,” Severen yawned, bored.

“She will have the same fate as her sister,” Linix giggled, twirling around him.

“Too bad for you- there's no way for you to protect her form her destiny, especially if you won't be around long enough,” Someraella smirked.

Nikolae fell to his knees as bile escaped his mouth. The smell stung his eyes and they teared up. All of their talk was too much for him. The three Sinners laughed as he shook on the ground.

“Where are the others?” he asked, not looking up.

“Oh, they're with your precious friend as we speak,” Someraella lifted his face to her, “And even now you can't protect her.”

He spat in her face and fell as she stumbled back, furious. Severen placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her and they walked off. Linix bent before him, her ever-changing beauty freezing him.

“There is one way for you to forever protect her...” she whispered.

Nikolae wiped his mouth with the back of his right hand, “How...?”

Linix stood and began to walk away, “Make a deal with your uncle.”

The three Sinners disappeared in a fit of laughter as Nikolae knelt before his own puddle of bile. Tears fell from his eyes as Linix's words echoed in his mind. Make a deal with your uncle. He stood, fists clenched at his side and glared at nothing in particular.

“If it means protecting Alexiana,” he spoke slowly and harshly, “Then I will make a deal with him...”
