Strange

Strange

A Poem by DaughterNature

Isn’t it wonderfully,

horribly

strange

how she lumped me in with

all of them,

yet,

they’re the ones who

irritate

me the most?

Their strange

self-talking

waiting for others to respond

responding to those not

talking to them,

all with this wonderful

know-it-all air.

These are the ones who

somehow

find me

they’re all around me:

on the train

and in the city

and at work,

inescapable and

blood-pressure boosting.
