Blue Crush

Blue Crush

A Poem by DaughterNature

Piercing blue,

sky blue,

sparkling-with-joy blue;

crisp, clean, clear

newborn stream blue,

denim jean blue,

bluebird’s wing blue;

your eyes are

deep within the melting snow blue.

While you smile at others,

I smile at you,

holding those

irresistibly blue eyes

with my own

until I’m forced to look

away

from your

ice blue

stare

as your focus

connects with mine.

Cute! I just pictured a guy I know with those eyes that whole time. Great writing! It means its really good if it invokes a memory in me. At least, that's my opinion. :)
