Ch.6: Manhattan

        After Rumple found a way that he could leave town to find his son without losing his memories, he asked for Kat to tag along with him for help in finding his son, Baelfire. Belle went with Rumple, as well. He wanted Katherine to go with him, because he knew after she'd been staying in town for a while now, that she'd have the most ambition to help him. She'd once had a child herself, after all. One that she'd lost more than once. Nadia.

        After Kat accepted, it didn't take that long for them to head to New York. Then, soon, they found him. Since Neal didn't really want time with him though, Kat had to meet with him alone, so they spent a little time at a bar, talking.

        "I may not be from your world, but rather I'm from this one, but I know what it's like. I know it's not the exact same as my own life story, but let me tell you something. Whether your father is the villain or a good guy, be thankful you have time with him. I hated my father, because he wasn't who he should've been. My mother was my protector and best friend. The villain in my story, a half vampire half werewolf hybrid, Klaus, killed both of my parents because I ran instead of letting myself be sacrificed for his own gain. He needed to activate the werewolf half of himself his mother made dormant with magic. I could care less about my father when Klaus killed him, though. It took me a long time to move past after my mother, though. We were very close. I know your father killed your mother, which I can only imagine when you found out, but I know that anger makes a lot of people do bad things. Don't make the mistake of staying far away from your father as you can. Klaus never had a choice with his father, but you have a choice. You just have to choose for yourself. Are you going to hate him all your life like I hated mine all my life, or are you going to choose to see him and possibly someday forgive him? He's searched for you for a very long time, a lot like what my daughter did. She searched for me for 548 years until she finally found me. That's what changed me. I wanted to do better by her. She believed that I could be a better person. If she was still alive, she'd be proud of who I've become now. So, which will it be?" she told him.

        After they'd finished a drink each at the bar and paid, he decided to go meet him and give him a chance, so Kat headed to the apartments, since she knew that Rumple was outside, waiting.

        Later, they made it to where Rumple was and headed into Neal's apartment, where they finally spoke.

        "He's decided to give you a chance, so try not to screw anything up," she told Rumple. "I'm gonna be on the balcony to give you two some alone time," she added, before going outside onto the balcony.

        After they chatted for a while, dark came and they all slept in Neal's apartment.

        About a few weeks later, Kat and Neal had grown close, so it didn't take much convincing for him to go to Storybrooke with her. So, the four of them went back to Storybrooke.
