I am not some fool who needs

I am not some fool who needs

A Poem by Das100

I am not some fool who needs
You to be so compassionate
That everything you say seems so
Damn (MARKETED) towards sparing me
I am not some sad woman, who, hasn't
Gained enough confidence to
Deal with circumstance from my
Lover which is YOU
I am who I was born to be
And you ARE slated cowardly
Towards running from all of the things
That most people call truth
Why must I have to disappear
So you don't deal with your FEAR?
You are not misunderstood, you are confused.
You are not strong, you are exhausted.
You are not resolved, you are indecisive.
Why don't you just INVEST.
When I call you suddenly you can not hear
Suddenly I stop and you think I don't care
Even when I am near you are suspicious
Why don't YOU have vision?
So shortsighted by what has happened
That you couldn't dare be present
So you NUMB the pain
So you scream when drunk
So you feed your ex
So I wish best of luck
Then you say it's not true
That you spoke too soon,
That the HURT is gone
I am not some fool who needs.
