The Muffled Wish

The Muffled Wish

A Poem by Darwyn Sansalone
"

The first poem I ever wrote when I was only 12 years old, for who I had loved.

"
Your eyes shine brightly when bathed in moonlight
You are my beacon in the night
Your beauty soars to boundless heights
I knew you were an angel at first sight
I'm head over heels in love with you
Tell me "Do you love me too"?
My dreams are flooded with your face throughout the night
So tell me my love, "Will you go out with me tonight"?

Haha thanks! That was the idea of the title; when I originally wrote the poem, my message was so clear and strong, she took it as a joke.

I like the title because its ironic how unmuffled your wishes really are
