Lamentations of a Runestone

Lamentations of a Runestone

A Poem by Darthalidae

Two stones.

Cast off from bags of runes.

Two Wunjos.

Made into a Mannaz.

Yet again, you were not.

You were an Isa.

In all your solitude,

Your educated blindness.

You weren’t a Wunjo.

I could have been, but no.

Because in your eyes,

I was already dead.
