Unimaginable Pain

inside each and every one of us 

is a agony we all hide from everyone 

deep within our heart and soul 

we know what true pain really is 

yet we do not reach out for help  

it slowly tears us up inside 

some choose to ignore the pain 

how is a question I can not answer 

some of us choose to hide from it 

denying that it is even there 

some of us display our pain 

and are proud of it 

then there are the few the chosen 

those of us who have made peace with us 

accepted it is apart of who we are 

love it because at least we feel something 

walking this realm numb to everything 

do people see our cries for help 

do they even care not until its to late 

we ignore the ones who want help 

knowing something is wrong with them 

and seeking to try and fix it 

but can not because they are 

told there weak, pathetic, losers

but yet the ones who say these things 

often can not admit they are broken 

often ignore their true selves 

but the ones like me have accepted

that this is who we are 

acknowledge the pain, the suffering, our own hell

yes it is invisible but cuts worse than any other bruise 

maybe its time for the world to open their eyes 

and see the unimageable pain that lies each and every one of us
