The UrgeA Poem by Curtis.Lenker
hello my friend we meet again
I have kept you hidden all these years now the time has come to give in today the urge is stronger than ever holding you in my hand brings back memories of when we were never without one another at last my arm is complete again I say looking at you glistening in the light its too bad you are used for destruction on one shoulder is the devil whispering do it on the other there is nothing no angel, no voice of reason, just emptiness as the skin slices looking the grand canyon blood runs down my arm like a river the sink red with precious rubies as I stare and watch the bloodbath I ask myself why of why do I do this maybe its to control the a pain for a brief moment or its because I need to feel something something to make sure I am still alive god how I missed this feeling of adrenaline letting my scars visible for all to see bragging about every last one today I gave in once again to something that is to vile yet beautiful tomorrow I might to do same and give in to the overwhelming urge
