Deep Within

Take a look deep with yourself

tell what do you see.

Describe to me how you feel. 

Do you look within and see happiness

or do you see your darkness. 

Do you feel pain that life brings? 

Tell me whats in your heart 

or are you afraid to even look. 

What do you hide deep within your 

soul that only you can see. 

Do your insecurities control you?

Do you hide behind a mask 

in fear of being judged my man. 

When you see yourself in the 

mirror what do you see? 

Does reality set it no matter

what it is good or bad. 

Do you look within and realize 

just how unique you really are?

Do you cherish everything you are

or despise the very site of yourself?

Then again maybe we do not take 

notice to the journey we take inside ourselves.
